Knowing first hand that watching actors in film and television can change lives, Auditioning by Heart strives to continually support actors' growth; spiritually, personally, and professionally. Directly following the conclusion of the 3-day Auditioning by Heart Intensive, join us for a very special opportunity to hear from industry professionals who are dedicated to educating actors on what some of the common phrases used within the industry actually mean. For example, “be off book” is short hand for a very important piece of homework. (Hint: it isn’t memorizing your lines!) Learn about “don’t move off of your mark,” “Less is more",” “Don’t use props,” and other key phrases that would take too long to explain in audition breakdowns.
NOTE: There is no guarantee as to which industry professionals will be available. Also, no resumes will be accepted and you will not be performing for the panel; this is not a job opportunity. Although, there will be an opportunity for Q&A.
We appreciate your professionalism on the day, and look forward to hearing your questions.
