• 1/2 Hour Private — $65

• 1 Hour Private — $110

• 1 Hour Semi-Private (scene between 2 or 3 actors) — $120

• 1 Hour On Location — $175 + expenses

Actors who use the do-it-yourself model of putting together a self-tape rarely get the call-back. Taping services with Crystal include:

• Professional lighting, audio, and framing.

• 1 Hour coaching and taping. (We’ll do a quick lighting/sound/makeup/hair/wardrobe check, but please come as ready to go as possible as this time is part of the hour.)

• Editing, rendering, and uploading footage. We’ll edit your best takes together and submit them directed to you, your agent/manager, the casting director, online casting, or wherever you need it to go.

Save $50 when pre-paying for 5 one-hour private coaching sessions. Discounted rate expires 3 months after date of purchase, but your remaining balance may be applied toward future sessions. (Not valid for 1/2 hour sessions, but may be used in multiple hour blocks.)

For professional actors with plenty of tape, we provide consulting and editing services to produce a compelling reel or individual clips for your press kit / website. For those actors just getting started, we can create a showcase for your personality and talent; including material selection, coaching and direction, filming, editing, and creating a final video for you to sell yourself to agents, managers, and casting directors.

Payment is due at receipt.  If payment is not received within 30 days, the balance accrue ten percent (10%) per month.

Rate begins at your scheduled time, regardless of time of arrival. If you are running late, please text me to let me know: 818-693-6450. If we need to go over time and there is no other client waiting, we can do so at an additional rate in 15 minute increments (see rates above). Please understand that your time slot has been reserved for you, and, out of consideration for Crystal and her other clients, please be on time. (Sessions are often scheduled back-to-back, especially during popular casting seasons.)

A late fee will be applied to clients who are more than 15 minutes late. We also reserve the right to reschedule your session, if necessary.

We accept cancellations up to 12 hours in advance of your scheduled time. After that time, and if your spot cannot be filled, you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. (If we can fill your spot, there is no charge.)

In advance of our session, please email the following to crystal.carson@mac.com:

• Your sides

• Your character breakdown

• Your taping instructions and where you’d like us to send your tape.

Bring 2 hard copies of the sides - one for you and one for myself.

Please consider the following for each scene:

• Where are you? What does it feel like for you to be there?

• Who are you talking with? What is your relationship with this person(s)?

• What do you want most out of life?

• What do you want from the other person(s) in each scene? What will happen if you don’t get that? What is difficult about getting what you want today?

Do not just memorize the lines. Rather, consider why you say what you do. Use the lines as clues to discover what you want and how you think / feel.

Be on time and come on-camera ready (hair, makeup, wardrobe). Wearing colors in the royal family tend to work best; however, try to avoid royal blue as that is the color of the backdrop we’ll be using. Also avoid white, stripes, and distracting, bold patterns.

Coaching and taping services are done from Crystal’s home studio located at: 6725 McLennan Ave, Van Nuys, CA 91406. Plenty of street parking is available; please read all street signs before parking.
