Dear Bootcamp 2023 actors,

I hope you have all had a wonderful, restful and fulfilling Holiday! 2020 & 2021 were certainly different, filled with growth, challenges and much to be grateful for. I am writing to let you know that 2023 will also be like no other year we have experienced, and you will need to stay on the top of your game. Filming challenges will be answered in creative ways, from auditioning to shooting. Technology will keep expanding, and who knows…soon a hologram of Spielberg will stand in your living room as yours will be auditioning in his. What’s important is to stay sharp, stay flexible and stay positive…you are good as long as you are grounded in this work that brings truth to your acting. The rest is can be overcome.

I do need to let you know a bit about what’s been happening in my life. I want to start by saying thank you to everyone for the kind words and thoughtful prayers, over the last few weeks. They are so appreciated. For those who don't know, I've recently been diagnosed with stage III Metastatic Ductal Carcinoma - Breast Cancer. Rest assured I am taking every action to stay on top of this. Unfortunately, I was given late notice of this as there was a clerical error at my doctor’s office, and because of the progression, my road to recovery is tricky. However, I intend to stay on track with my protocol, on top of my doctors, and continue my treatment. With that being said, I want you to know that I will be coaching over ZOOM but I am unable to move forward with my regular BOOTCAMP 2022 scheduling, until 2023. I am only asking for your continual prayers and patience as I take on this journey. There are still a number of unanswered questions, but I will do my best to keep you posted as we move forward. Please keep me forefront in your thoughts and prayers, and I will see you all in 2023!

100% Online with weekly LIVE class meetings via Zoom,

with recordings and sides to work on “daily”.

There are two ways to take the class: Crystal Level participant or Silver Level participant.

8-WEEK VIRTUAL BOOTCAMP! (postponed)

Orientation is Jan 11th - Live on Zoom to get your materials, learn a little of the philosophy behind the technique, answer questions, etc... We will explaining how you’ll be using the breakdown and sides from the On-Demand Virtual Masterclass and what to expect during the Live Zoom Meetings.

First official class is Jan 18th Live on Zoom - We will go over your work and learn an important, career changing approach to auditioning, that will take you to the next level in your career and beyond. Each class will meet @ 7pm, EST.

There will be eight (8) Zoom meetings/classes total: including Orientation, 6 weeks of audition sides, and the Virtual Party (a very special class) We'll meet on ZOOM Mondays for three weeks, and break for one week- Beginning Jan 11th, 2022 thru March 1st, 2022. Note: The best way to take the BOOTCAMP is to set aside a little time for acting “classwork” everyday.

Daily Class Schedule:

* Monday: Meet on ZOOM for approximately 3-4 hours to incrementally learn the Auditioning by Heart technique. As a group, go over the sides doing Script Analysis & and character history. Learn lessons and (as a Crystal Level participant) have your audition tapes critiqued one-on-one. After class Monday night, download sides to get ready for next week class. ***Silver Level participants may have their tapes critiqued after class.

* Tuesday: Work on the downloaded sides to prepare your audition, and schedule a taping session (w/reader) for Wed: Crystal recommends Actor Trade App (along with the Facebook group, Rehearsal and

* Wednesday: tape yourself, upload tape to Auditioning by Heart,

* Thursday: watch a 1-2 hour video about the sides, absorb the notes, compare with your own audition video,

* Friday: if you want to try to take the notes you got off of the 1-2 hour video about the sides, then re-think / re-tape / resend your new audition tape over the weekend, get it to us by 6pm Eastern Time Sunday (3pm PST)

Tuition: Considering there is acting work (with possible back-and-forth communication w/Crystal) to do everyday, and there is Orientation and the amazing “End of Bootcamp learning celebration”, in total, the Bootcamp is priced about $5 per day...for a total of $37.50 per week.

Note: If you already own the On-Demand Virtual Masterclass materials, we will subtract that cost from the class tuition.
