Once upon a time, there was an amazing 4-day actor training program…
ReActing by Heart & Auditioning by Heart were once combined as a 4-day intensive. Then one day, 2 agents and a casting director came to the Sunday Industry Panel. They wanted to refer actors to the course, and they requested that it be broken into two affordable pieces for the Atlanta Market. Like magic, we split the 4-day program. We also began offering scholarships, limited time specials and payment plans, to the enchantment of all.
We now offer ReActing by Heart (as a 1 day class) and Auditioning by Heart (as a 3-day Intensive) as 2 stand alone classes. This allows you to control the tuition, pace and learning style. …and everyone is living Happily Ever After!
Auditioning by Heart
This 3-day, on-camera intensive will teach professional actors how to organically prepare for film and television auditions within a short time-frame. Actors receive new sides prior to each class and work daily.

Auditioning by Heart - 2 Ways to Play:
1) SILVER LEVEL : As a “Silver-Level” actor in Auditioning by Heart, you have an in-class opportunity to learn and practice self-critiquing. Crystal will guide you as to how to apply the day’s lesson to your own audition tape with the help of a Teacher’s Assistant.
As a silver-level actor, you can also have Crystal critique 1, 2 or all 3 tapes of your in-class auditions (Privately, outside of class) for a small fee per scene. Click here to learn more about being a Silver-Level Actor. Limited to 18 Actors.
2) CRYSTAL LEVEL (see what we did there?): As a “Crystal-Level” actor in Auditioning by Heart, you will have your work critiqued in front of the class and used by Crystal to demonstrate the day’s lesson. (Your resume will be requested after you register.) Limited to 12 actors.

I just finished taking ReActing By Heart class and I finally "get it", not just rationally, but I really FEEL what it means to be in the moment in a whole new, unforgettable, usable, effortless way.
After you understand the rules & technicalities, you will notice that your body and mind will automatically start to respond to the other person. You'll start to have emotions hit and change you. You'll GENERATE THOUGHTS, then look at the other person and say them. You'll really get that the script gives you WHAT to say, but taking in the other person, gives you HOW to say it -- no "pre-shaping".
Even though I am not really thinking up the lines, because the writers has already done that, I feel like I am. ReActing By Heart has helped ME, be more of a REAL human being when auditioning and anytime I'm acting.
